Skype in the classroom

Skype in the Classroom

We have teamed up with Skype in the Classroom and their Exploring Oceans campaign in November along with Fabien Cousteau and a host of other marine organisations. https://education.skype.com/exploringoceans

We will be delivering lessons focused on green, small ship designs and the use of renewable energy at sea. Highlighting how human activity effects our oceans and positive ways in which well designed, zero-emissions small ships can help reduce that impact. Teachers, students, sailors all – Come join the fun!https://education.skype.com/projects/5890-designing-the-green-ships-of-the-future

We are also looking forward to developing our partnership with Skype further so that we can bring the experience of building, sailing and trading with our first vessel as the S/V Greenheart circles the globe on her maiden voyage starting next year.

Ecomobiel

Ecomobiel – Sustainable Mobility – Rotterdam, Netherlands

Greenheart is joining the Ecomobiel event at the Ahoy Centre in Rotterdam, 08-09 October http://www.ecomobiel.nl/

Celebrating it’s fifth anniversary,  Ecomobiel has grown to become the biggest platform for sustainable mobility and mobility management and as such we are delighted to have a booth at the event. We are looking forward to attending an exhibition where ‘real business deals are made and the vehicle for industry parties to come together in new relationships’. This year a new trade show will be introduced parallel to ecomobiel: ecologistiek, the platform for sustainable innovation in transport and logistics.

If you can make it to Rotterdam on those days, we will be happy to welcome you to our booth, C112, – talking Greenheart ships, our pilot projects, ways to work with us, sustainable shipping, renewable energy and marine infrastructure.

See you there!
